GOOGLE'S WARNING TO ALL GMAIL USERS STEPS/PHRASES THAT HACKER USE TO EMPTY YOUR BANKS

GOOGLE is warning Gmail users to watch out for malicious scams that could be lurking in their inboxes already. The Tech giant of Google has stated ten danger spam message you should watch out for.

1. SPAM MESSAGE:

     Scammers act as Google customer service support to request money transfers.

It then explained the kind of things Google customer service support would never ask for, so be aware of such spam message. 

Google says its support emails would never ask for "your passwords, pass codes, or password reset link."

If you get an email regarding these,  asking of any of the things listed above, don't click anything and go to your official Google account to check if there's a problem.

2. PINS:

            Be very cautious of emails that ask for these and never give any of your personal identification numbers to strangers or sources that aren't confirmed as legitimate 

3.DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:

         Any Emails asking for your debit or credit card information and they aren't confirmed as legitimate please don't give out such information because it's a scam and they will empty your bank account. 

4.BANK INFORMATION, LIKE ACCOUNT NUMBERS: 

           

          Giving away banking information could see your account drained in a worst-case scenario. Not all that ask for your account number want to credit you, so be aware of how you give out your bank information like account number. 

5. PERSONAL INFORMATION LIKE ADDRESS OR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER:

         Your SSN should be kept private and only share with official sources. Google will never ask you for you personal information like address or social security number if not necessary and also confirm that it's legitimate before you give out such information otherwise delete the message immediately. 

6. DOWNLOADING AN APP TO RECEIVE SUPPORT.

      

           Emails that ask you "to download an app to receive support or solve a problem" can often be scams.

This is especially true if you weren't expecting the email and didn't realize you were in need of support in the first place. Beware. 

7. OPENING OF DOCUMENT/ATTACHMENT, LIKE PDF:

          

           Any attachment like pdf that I s sent in you gmail account if you are not expecting any or you don't understand the documents attachment please do not click because this is another step they use to empty your banks account immediately you open the documents. 

8. GIVING OUT YOU GMAIL 

             Some website will ask for gmail details before you sign in, ensure that the website is protected and are legit before you give out gmail details because they can hack you gmail and collect all you saved documents which means that can access your bank with your gmail so be careful of website you sign in. 

9. ENABLE TWO STEP VERIFICATION/ STRONG PASSWORD:

         

         Google advice you to enable two step verification and also use strong password (Numbers, Letters: upper and lower case and character). Do not disclose your password to anyone and website that is not verified and protected. 

10. GOOGLE SUPPORT SERVICE / HELP

           Google support service is always available to support you when you have any issue, so always summit your complain to verified and confirmed Google support provider to be attended to. Don't disclose your information to any website when you have any issue with your gmail and remember that Google will not ask for your personal information, bank information, etc. 

If you're unsure whether an email is real or fake, check with the company via its official website or phone number. Take precaution of these step and secure you Gmail and your Bank from Hacker (Scammer)
